Justin is the Executive Director of Growthwell Foods. With more than 10 years of experience in the F&B and food manufacturing industry, Justin is the second-generation leader of the company and a serial entrepreneur with experience in Mergers and Acquisitions.
He is also the co-founder of Greendot, Singapore’s largest fast casual plant-based restaurant chain, and the Chief Executive Officer of Glife Technologies, a B2B food technology company operating as a vertical food service solution provider within the food supply chain.
As Executive Director, Justin oversees the business’s strategic vision to drive company growth. He builds an effective team of leaders and leads decisions aiming to promote the organisation’s mission. Justin also identifies potential strategic investments and directs fundraising efforts for Growthwell Foods’ global expansion.
Manuel Bossi is the Group Chief Executive Officer at Growthwell Foods. Responsible for spearheading the growth strategy and internationalization of Growthwell Foods, he brings with him over 20 years of experience in running end-to-end commercial operations in large Fortune 500 MNCs across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
Prior to joining Growthwell Foods, Manuel was the Managing Director of AEMEA at The Hershey Company, where he had full commercial and operational accountability for 25+ countries across three regions. Formerly, he covered several commercial roles at Ferrero, Mondelez and Nestle across Asia and Europe.
Manuel holds an Executive MBA from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), the Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University), as well as an MSc in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan.
Heng Peng Kwang is the Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of the FMCG Business Unit at Growthwell Foods.
As a business strategist and leader with almost 30 years of experience within the F&B and FMCG space, Peng Kwang oversees the company’s business strategies, commercial and operations. An integral part of the leadership at Growthwell Foods, Peng Kwang’s wide-ranging experience and knowledge in executive management, business operations, commercial & consumer marketing enable him to effectively develop and implement effective business and operational strategies to achieve the company’s objectives across strategic markets.
Prior to joining Growthwell Foods, Peng Kwang held a role as Innovation and Marketing Director, APAC, at Givaudan, the world’s largest company in the flavour and fragrance industries. He was responsible for providing strategic direction to regional and country heads, commercial, marketing and technical teams to develop and implement marketing and innovation strategies and solutions to win across plant-based proteins, savoury and snacks categories.
Formerly, he was Chief Executive Officer at Auric Pacific Group and has held key leadership roles across various multinational FMCG categories and brand leaders including Nestlé and The Coca-Cola Company.
Peng Kwang holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from National University of Singapore and graduated from the Business Leadership Program in London Business School.
Ronald Dalderup is the Chief Growth Officer at Growthwell Foods. He is responsible for defining and implementing value-added strategies for Growthwell Foods. In this role, he drives the translation of market and consumer insights into mid and longer-term product innovation roadmaps.
Prior to Growthwell Foods, Ronald co-founded Singapore’s first dedicated innovation consultancy business in 2007 where he focused on capability building in demand-generation drivers such as New Product and Service Innovation and Brand Positioning and Marketing. He then joined Shangri-La Hotel and Resorts HQ as the Vice President of Special Projects, driving new experiences in Food & Beverage as well as formulating a new hotel concept.
Before moving to Singapore, Ronald spent 21 years with Philips in various roles including Innovation, Business Development, and as the European Marketing Manager responsible for both operational and strategic marketing for a portfolio of over 250 million euros.
Ronald holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering & Marketing from the University for Applied Science in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
James Tay is the Chief Financial Officer at Growthwell Foods. He is responsible for the capital strategy, including corporate development, fundraising, as well as mergers and acquisitions. He also oversees corporate controllership and accounting, financial reporting, investor relations, and legal and compliance functions.
With more than 20 years of experience, James gained deep expertise in financial strategy, audit, taxation, risk and treasury management was accumulated from the breadth of roles across the education, FMCG, industrial and service sectors.
James started his career with Ernst & Young as a Tax Specialist. Prior to joining Growthwell Foods, he was the Financial Controller at EtonHouse International Education Group.
James holds a Higher Diploma in Accounting from the London Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) and is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He is also a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA).
With more than two decades of hands-on experience in the food ingredient space in the APAC region, Moy Teo currently is the Managing Director of Ingredients at Growthwell Foods where she is responsible for the management and growth of the new ingredient division portfolio and building up its young ingredient pillar team.
Prior to joining Growthwell Foods, Moy founded Matrix Ingredients in 2002, a successful food ingredient company focused on providing ingredients, technical services, and formulation advice in the savoury and processed meat markets across Singapore and Malaysia.
Under her leadership, Matrix Ingredients expanded its services to tap into the plant-based industry, working closely with suppliers and customers on establishing solutions for plant-based meat alternatives while meeting the evolving tastes and needs of consumers. Matrix was later acquired by ingredient market leader IMCD in 2018.
Moy holds an honours degree in Bachelor of Food Technology from the University of Reading. She was also the Young Scientist Award winner in the UK in 1999.
Christabel Ang is the Senior Vice President of R&D at Growthwell Foods. She is responsible for the strategic innovation and development of safe, reliable, nutritious, and tasty plant-based food and dairy products.
She is an industry veteran with close to 30 years of experience in industrial ingredients and food services in FMCG and multiple food & beverage companies. Christabel is particularly knowledgeable in speciality ingredients, additives, flavours, and the plant-based space.
Prior to joining Growthwell Foods, Christabel was the Head of R&D at Hai’s, responsible for the setting up of their R&D facilities and driving strategic innovation strategies. She also led the development of the brand’s award-winning premium collection and speciality products, catering for retail, export, and key restaurant chains.
Christabel began her career with Nestlé Food Ingredients Specialities (FIS) where she spent more than 20 years. Her last role with the company was Country Manager for Nestlé FIS where she oversaw the financial growth and operations of the country.
Head of Commercial
Kuan Loong is the VP of Commercial SEA at Growthwell Foods. He is responsible for leading the company’s commercial functions, including customer experience, strategic partnerships, sales and marketing, and external stakeholder initiatives across the Southeast Asian region.
Kuan Loong has over 10 years of experience in business development and key account management in food and beverage companies. He is a specialist in driving commercial strategies for food companies with a focus on alternative proteins.
Prior to joining Growthwell Foods, Kuan Loong held roles across the food and beverages organisations, including plant-based company Impossible Foods and the Connector Country Foods, a wholly owned subsidiary of SATS, one of Singapore’s largest food importers, distributors and manufacturers. His expertise lies in developing growth opportunities through spearheading successful partnerships with key F&B stakeholders and launching new brands into the market such as the launch of Impossible Pork in Singapore.
Kuan Loong holds a Bachelor of Arts & Social Sciences from the National University of Singapore.
Colin Chou is the Head of Operations at Growthwell Foods. He has more than six years of experience in the plant-based food industry, first joining Growthwell Foods as the Head of Commercial. He has seen the company grow from strength to strength since its early days when it was first incorporated by his father. Today, Colin is instrumental in driving the growth of the company and is responsible for keeping Growthwell Foods’ operational wheels spinning to keep pace with the growth and expansion of the business. This includes heading the operations at Growthwell Foods and overseeing the process of transfer of formulations from R&D to being production ready.
Under Colin’s guidance, Growthwell Foods continues to retain its position as one of the top market leaders in the industry.
